As Summer Approaches

We are taking a close look at our life in Christ through the lens of scripture. The pastor is preaching a series entitled, Make or Break Concepts for Everyday Living. The themes include:

Your Priorities – 1 Thessalonians 2;

Your Attitudes – Philippians 2 & Hebrews 10;

Your Connections – Acts 2 & 4;

Your Prayers – Matthew 6.

Join us for this series that concludes on June 5^th.

Are you ready to meet a young missionary family that CCC can support in prayer and finances? A very special husband and wife team, along with their two little boys, are preparing to head to South America this fall as a part of the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church. They will share their heart for church planting and leadership development with us on Sunday, June 12^th.

An all new family night will begin on Thursday, June 9, in our church building and will meet for 8 consecutive weeks. L.I.F.E. classes (Living Instruction For Everyone) will be available for children, women and men. Nursery care will also be provided. The schedule is as follows:

6:00 – 6:45 p.m.

Meal provided (for a nominal fee)

7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Wildwood Forest: Discovering the Untamed Nature of God. This Vacation Bible School approach is for the children and is led by Bethann Rohlfing.
No Other Gods: Confronting Our Modern Day Idols – Kelly Minter. This study is for the women and is led by Lori Ehrett.
Confident in Weakness, Strengthened in Struggle – 2 Corinthians. This study is for men and is led by Pastor Steve & Carl Helfrich.
Gospel Transformation: Focusing on What Matters Most. This 36 week study is for couples and is being led by Chris & Jolena Mayfield. (This group will continue to meet after the summer series concludes.)
