Community Covenant Church

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,

Not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Many exciting events are taking place in the lives of our children at Community Covenant Church. We place a very high value on our children. A well-staffed nursery is provided for the infants and toddlers where the children feel very special and sense the love of Jesus through their teachers. We provide all of our children with a safe environment full of loving care, excellent Bible teaching (at their level), and plenty of fun activities.

On any given Sunday morning the children will have the opportunity to sing choruses of praise with the congregation, be involved in a short interactive children’s sermon with the pastor, and then go off to children’s church. Two children’s church classes are taught each week. One class is Pre-K thru Kindergarten and the other class is 1st thru 5th grades. We use a very child-friendly curriculum to engage the children in the basics of the Bible while having a fun time learning together.

There are various activities that take place throughout the year for our children. In the past these have included an Easter Egg Hunt (open to the entire community), a 4th of July celebration with a Christian concert and incredible fireworks display, a Fall Festival with costumes, food and games, a Christmas program presented by the children during a worship service during the Christmas season, and Vacation Bible School (VBS) during the summer.
