Fall Bible Study Begins Sept 21st

Midweek Bible Study // Thurs Nights // 7:00-8:30p

Beginning this Thursday, September 21st, we will journey through the writing of Deuteronomy. This 12-week study will give us a great look into the ways of God as Moses prepares God’s faithful to enter a new land. I anticipate really good discussions. I hope you can be there.

James Bible Study Begins July 6

A new six-week Bible study on the letter of James will begin on Thursday, July 6th at 7:00-8:30 pm. This study will be co-led by Bob & Carl. James is a great biblical writing on what it means to actively live your faith.

Signs of Vitality

Join us for our current sermon series and Bible study. We are in the midst of a seven-week focus on vitality in life and church. We will see how we serve the God of life, all life, and that God wants each and every one of us to know the new life that we find in Jesus. We will see how God wants us to thrive as individuals and as a church. In addition to the sermon series, there will also be a seven-week Bible study group so that we can dialog about these themes on life. So join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am and Thursday evenings 7:00 pm.

Here are the 7 topics:

Signs of Vitality

Vitality Begins with God

Vitality is in the Mission of Jesus

Vitality is a Movement of the Holy Spirit

Vitality Encounters Resistance

Vitality is a Journey

Vitality is a Communal Effort

Bible Study Begins Thursday

The midweek Bible study will begin anew this Thursday at 7:00 pm. Come participate in the discussion as we follow along with the current sermon series.

New Children’s Curriculum

This fall we are introducing new curriculum for our children’s church for kids in grades K-5. Beginning September 11 we will use Spark by Spark House. This should be a good resource to help kids go deeper into the Bible and to grow in their faith in God. You can learn more about this curriculum at http://www.wearesparkhouse.org/kids/spark/.

Children’s church is offered during worship on Sundays. All kids are invited to participate in first part of worship and then kids in K-5 are invited to take part in children’s church. We also offer childcare during worship for the younger kids ages 0-5.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through the New Testament!
September 25 – November 19, 2016

Here’s a revolutionary idea: let’s actually read the Bible.
Whole books. In community. It’s more doable than you think.
For eight weeks, Community Covenant Church will explore the New Testament together. We’ll read five days a week and share the journey in weekly small group gatherings. We’ll immerse ourselves in every word of the New Testament—understanding it in context, experiencing it in community.

To sign-up, send an email to church@ccc-stl.org or call the office at (314) 966-5853.

Face Your Fears Camp

We’re excited about the five-week group that begins Tuesday, July 19, called “Face Your Fears Camp.” This group for adults and kids begins with a full dinner and includes songs, Bible study, activities, and adventures. The first session is this Tuesday evening at 5:30pm. The group will run for 5 weeks on Tuesdays. If you can’t make it to all five weeks, no problem, come to as many as you can. The cost for dinner is $3 per person or $10 for an entire family. This helps cover the cost of the food. If you are coming and haven’t signed up yet, please send an email to office@ccc-stl.org to let us know so we can prepare your dinner.
