Church Closed Dec 18th

Due to icy roads and frigid temperatures the church will be closed today. No worship service. Next services will be Christmas Eve at 6pm and Christmas Day at 10:30am.

Christmas Concert Cancelled

Due to the inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions expected tonight we’ve decided it best to cancel the concert. However, we will still get to hear and sing many of the songs tomorrow morning during worship and for the Christmas Eve and Christmas services. We hope you have a safe and joyful evening.

Middle School Group

Coming mid-September is the middle school group (grades 6-8). We are planning to meet on Wednesdays after school for an hour and a half. The group will meet weekly throughout the school year and go through the confirmation and discipleship curriculum which covers both the Old Testament and the New Testament. It should be a good faith growing experience with some fun mixed in as well. If you would like to learn more contact the church office at church@ccc-stl.org.

New Children’s Curriculum

This fall we are introducing new curriculum for our children’s church for kids in grades K-5. Beginning September 11 we will use Spark by Spark House. This should be a good resource to help kids go deeper into the Bible and to grow in their faith in God. You can learn more about this curriculum at http://www.wearesparkhouse.org/kids/spark/.

Children’s church is offered during worship on Sundays. All kids are invited to participate in first part of worship and then kids in K-5 are invited to take part in children’s church. We also offer childcare during worship for the younger kids ages 0-5.

An Invitation to GROW

GROW-treatment

Our current worship series called “An Invitation to GROW” will conclude this Sunday with a closer look at how worship plays a crucial role in our spiritual growth. I hope you can join us for this special time of worship. There will be an opportunity to share ways in which you commit to growing with us this fall. Worship begins at 10:30am. Childcare and Children’s Church are provided.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through the New Testament!
September 25 – November 19, 2016

Here’s a revolutionary idea: let’s actually read the Bible.
Whole books. In community. It’s more doable than you think.
For eight weeks, Community Covenant Church will explore the New Testament together. We’ll read five days a week and share the journey in weekly small group gatherings. We’ll immerse ourselves in every word of the New Testament—understanding it in context, experiencing it in community.

To sign-up, send an email to church@ccc-stl.org or call the office at (314) 966-5853.

Face Your Fears Camp

We’re excited about the five-week group that begins Tuesday, July 19, called “Face Your Fears Camp.” This group for adults and kids begins with a full dinner and includes songs, Bible study, activities, and adventures. The first session is this Tuesday evening at 5:30pm. The group will run for 5 weeks on Tuesdays. If you can’t make it to all five weeks, no problem, come to as many as you can. The cost for dinner is $3 per person or $10 for an entire family. This helps cover the cost of the food. If you are coming and haven’t signed up yet, please send an email to office@ccc-stl.org to let us know so we can prepare your dinner.

Welcome to Community Covenant Church

Everyone is welcome at Community Covenant Church. We are a Christian church seeking to grow deeper in Christ and make a difference in our community through faith, hope, and love. We would love for you to participate with us in this journey.

What to Expect

Our Sunday worship begins at 10:30am and lasts for about an hour and 15 minutes. We are intentionally intergenerational so people of all ages can feel welcome and freely participate. Childcare is available for the young ones ages 0-5 and a Children’s Church is available for kids in grades K-5 during the sermon.

We have a blended worship style with elements of modern and traditional worship. We practice the sacrament of communion the first Sunday of each month. We invite you to join us and participate in worship and hope you will find this a place to grow deeper in Christ and go further in mission.
